New Spin-off Website for otsoNY.com

Launched online this month, otsoNY.com showcases the best parts of onthesetofnewyork.com with a new sleek design and easy navigation, the website is a cut-down version, featuring all of the latest film location updates, a glimpse at the newly published news stories and a colourful picture gallery highlighting some of the most famous places in New York and their links to movies.

The new website will be regularly updated and is more mobile phone friendly, which according to research from the newly assigned web hosting company is where over half out the website’s visitors are viewing the site from. Plans to change the current design of onthesetofnewyork.com are on hold until 2024, though the website continues to attract a lot of visits from the United States, England and across parts of Europe.

Interestingly, the top ranked page on the main website has been “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister who is once again forgotten, though not at home this time, but in New York City having accidentally got on the wrong plane. A close second is “You’ve Got Mail” starring Meg Ryan as a struggling boutique bookseller who hates Joe Fox played by Tom Hanks, the owner of a corporate Foxbooks chain store that has just moved in across the street.

The highest ranked chart is the Top 50 Most Romantic Films which posts The Rebound at No.10, The Prince of Tides at No.9, One Fine Day at No.8, You’ve Got Mail at No.7, and at No.6, The Family Man, whilst the top 5 kicks off with Sleepless in Seattle, next is Serendipity, at No.3 is Kate and Leopold starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman, at No.2 is When Harry Met Sally, again with Meg Ryan in the lead role, and topping the chart is Ghost starring Patrick Swayze as Sam Wheat, a Wall Street a banker and his artist wife Molly Jensen played by Demi Moore; in a loving relationship until one night when Sam is murdered by friend and corrupt business partner Carl Bruner over a shady business deal. Sam is left to roam the earth as a powerless spirit, and after he learns of Carl's betrayal, Sam must seek the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown to set things right and protect Molly from Carl and his goons.
