The flagship store of Tiffany’s in midtown Manhattan is currently featuring the iconic opening scene from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Herburn as Holly Golightly, a New York socialite who became interested in a young man who had moved into her apartment building.

The scene takes place on Fifth Avenue in the early hours of the morning. A taxi pulls up in front of the Tiffany & Co. store and from it emerges elegantly dressed Holly Golightly, carrying a paper bag containing her breakfast. She pauses in front of the store window and takes a sip of coffee whilst gazing at the items in the window.

Tiffany’s window is reversed and shows Audrey Herburn starring back at the passing onlookers accompanied by the famous soundtrack of “Moon River”.
