Defence attorney Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves) has never lost one single case. He is invited to New York to work for a big law firm ruled by senior board member John Milton (Al Pacino), who showers him with wealth and feeds his vanity. Kevin's wife Mary-Ann (Charlize Theron) just wants to have a baby and is distressed by Kevin always being on a case and never at home. She starts to lose her grip on reality - or so it seems. Kevin Lomax is about to find out about his true heritage and the grand scheme John Milton is running from his penthouse apartment. |

otsoNY Comments: The Penta Plaza is in fact the Continental Plaza on Wall Street. The actual rooftop scene, where John Milton offers Kevin a job in his company was indeed filmed 50 floors up on top of the Continental Tower. However, there actual water garden was added digitally in post production.

otsoNY Comments: This location was used as the hospital exit, although really it is an apartment block on East 57th Street.

otsoNY Comments: The exterior shots for the funeral scene were shot at 593 Park Avenue, whereas the interior shots were done at a church on Manhattan's Lower East Side called Most Holy Redeemer Church, located at 173 East 3rd Street.
