The Art of Getting By Comes to DVD

30 November 2011

“The Art of Getting By” has finally been released on DVD and will shortly appear in the location section of OTSONY. The film tells the story of George, a lonely and fatalistic teen who has made it all the way to his senior year without ever having done a real day of work, and who has recently been befriended by Sally, a popular but complicated girl who recognises in him a kindred spirit. The film was completely shot in New York and stars Freddie Highmore, better known for his roles in “Finding Neverland” and “August Rush”, and Emma Roberts, who has appeared in three New York-based films, “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”, “4.3.2.1” and “Twelve”.

In this screen shot, George and Sally make their way past the famous Cinema Village situated on East 12th Street.
