Doctor Who was back in New York City recently, or rather the two new cast members, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Louise Coleman. The pair were back to promote the new series which aired in the UK last weekend to rave reviews.

Back in September 2012, the BBC filmed a special episode in NYC with Matt Smith as the 11th doctor and his trusted partners played by Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.

There are no plans to return to NYC for film any more episodes, but as the long-running television show is such a world-wide success, Capaldi and Coleman made the trip over to the States to help promote the latest series, which has also been shown at cinemas across the UK.

During their trip, they visited the Rockefeller Center in midtown for a photo-call with the US press.
