Australian-British singer, songwriter and actress, Kylie Minogue recently posted an image on her Instagram account showing her posing inside one of the luxurious rooms of the Greenwich Hotel in New York City.

The hotel, which is situated at the corner of N Moore Street and Greenwich Street was originally opened in 2008 by Hollywood legend Robert De Niro, and though it goes by the name of Greenwich, it is in fact nowhere near Greenwich Village. Instead, the Greenwich is located on the edge of De Niro's favourite neighbourhood, TriBeCa, and close to the Hudson River. Of all the rooms, the celebrity favourites are the N Moore and Greenwich, named after nearby streets, gloriously spacious suites that feature double-height ceilings, fireplaces and kitchens. Corner suites get a view of the Hudson, whilst the interiors such as the bathrooms were inspired by Morocco and the beds came from Sweden.

Besides Kylie Minogue, the Greenwich is a regular for Friends actress Jennifer Aniston when she is in New York as well as British actress and previous Bond Girl Gemma Arterton. It is unclear if Kylie is currently staying in New York or if the photograph was taken some time ago, but what is known is that the singer has just completed 26 shows in Europe and seven shows in Australia, concluding on the 17th March, and that the last time she was at the hotel was April 2018.
