In the latest advert for the UK mobile network giant EE, formerly Orange, actor Kevin Bacon tries to convince us that he is actually in London, when anyone familiar with the West Village will instantly recognise Christopher Street.

The advert starts with Kevin stepping out of the side entrance to number 10 Christopher Street, which is actually located in Gay Street. Taking a left into Christopher Street, Kevin promptly points out two mobile phone users who are waiting for a stronger and faster signal to refresh their broadband requests, one of which has requested a street map of the local area. If he is waiting for it to load the city of London whilst standing in New York, he will be waiting a long time!

And finally, he finishes the advert whilst standing next to Le Petit Puppy at number 18 Christopher Street suggesting that it is a English-style Fish and Chip shop!
