It’s December, and once again time to dust off the Christmas movies.

This year, otsoNY has revised its 10 most popular Christmas films and included a new entry in the form of the incredibly sad and romantic drama, “Collateral Beauty” starring an ensemble cast of Will Smith, Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Michael Peña, Naomie Harris, Jacob Latimore, Kate Winslet, and Helen Mirren.

Shot purely in New York, the film which was released in 2016, features the locations on Fifth Avenue, West End Avenue, Gansevoort Street, Park Avenue, Lafayette Street, Varick Street and Bleecker Street. The Ad Agency scenes were filmed at Wieden Kennedy, a real-life ad agency in New York City, and the scenes at Broadway-Lafayette train station was actually filmed at the Church Ave train station in Brooklyn, on the G/F line.

Hugh Jackman was originally attached to star, but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, and was later replaced by Will Smith, who played Howard Inlet. a man who copes with his daughter's death by writing letters to time, death, and love. The film cast included two Oscar winners, Kate Winslet and Helen Mirren, and four Oscar nominees: Will Smith, Edward Norton, Naomie Harris and Keira Knightley, which was the third movie set at Christmas for Keira Knightley. The other two being “The Jacket” and “Love Actually”.
